Is That a Good Thing?

Believe it or not, until just now, I hadn’t turned Frankie on at all today. Why, you ask? Well, take a look down my sidebar. See the progress bars? See the one that’s completely hot pink?

:banana::rockon::dance:

Yup, I finally finished retying BMO last night! YAY, ME! I’m leaving the 100% progress bar up a couple of days just so I can bask in its brightness.

So I got BMO and IH printed out this morning, 3-hole punched them, and they’re in a 3-ring binder. Armed with a brightly colored pen and Post-It flags, I started reading through BMO this morning and marking edits, typos, and annoying things. I’m thinking I’ll make three passes, minimum. Actually, for the final pass I just might convert the ms to an ebook and have the mechanical MSReader voice read the book to me.

There you have my plan. And tomorrow, a new progress bar will appear, tracking which page I’m on in the read-thrus. Gotta keep that accountability up!

For now, I’m shutting back down and going back to work. But I’ll leave you with this quiz. Hope you had a great Wednesday!

    You Are Half Baked Ice Cream

    In reality, you’re just a quarter baked

    Lynn! That is so awesome finishing BMO!! I can only imagine how you must feel! You’re getting there, just hang in for a little while longer!

    I got the same quiz result as Tara (insert sound of non-surprise here…)

    Woot! Don’t you just love seeing that *full* colored progress bar!

    I’ve been seeing mine move in slow, steady, increments over the last few days and I love that I can now update my progress in Wordpress–it’s so much easier!

    Cynthia - Slow and steady is very, very good! And yours is probably for writing while mine was only for retyping. But now it’s for pages marking edits, so I feel like I’m actually accomplishing a bit more.

    Isn’t the progress thing in WordPress wonderful?

    Andrew - :ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

    And that’s all I’ll say. :angel:

    Nienke - Thanks bunches for the encouragement. It helps. It really does!

    Tara - That one’s pretty amusing. I’m not sure which I like better.
