Firehole River 047

I meant to blog yesterday, but I forgot to. It actually wasn’t as ditz-brained a move as it sounds — take a look at the progress bar in my sidebar. See that? I finished marking those edits yesterday! Between that, finishing a crit, and working on that friend’s website, I lost track of time. By the time I looked at the clock, it was already past midnight.

But I’m remembering to blog today!

We’re going back into Yellowstone National Park for today’s shot. This is the Firehole River — a shot I had to get because I thought the water’s movement was so beautiful. It’s another moment that probably had folks scratching their heads — I was laying in the weeds on the shoreline of the river (see the flower on the bottom left? That was right in front of my face!) to get this shot. When I got back to my feet I was brushing dirt, grass, and bugs from my clothes. But I got this shot, so it was all worth it.
