Fewer Than 99 and They’re Not All Red

After staying up waaaaay too late last night working on my IH edits (*ahem4amahem*), I still had to get up this morning, shower, do laundry, and get the kids to a birthday party.
They both enjoyed the party (one of our old neighbors was turning 5), but it would seem the real fun started after we got home. MiniMe recorded it. Feel free to watch below (the videos are very very short), but please pay no attention to the mess in MiniMe’s room…

Sorry for the late post. I’ve been working so hard on my IH edits this week, I completely forgot to work up a picture for this week’s Saturday Shot. On top of that, we took a drive up to the mountains to visit an old friend — left in the morning and didn’t get back until after 9.
The good news is this friend’s home is out in the woods, and I got some pretty good pictures. That’s what I’ve been doing since we got home. Downloading pictures. Since I’m late, I decided to give you a bonus picture.

MiniMe’s soccer season’s already starting. No games yet, but she’s already having practices. And homework. She had soccer homework. She had to run a timed 1.5 miles before Monday’s practice. Of course, that meant we were driving around looking for a place to run on Monday.
Nothing like waiting until the last minute!

ME: (yanking the covers from their beds) C’mon! Get up! We’ve got lots to do!
