Left Brained or Right Brained?

Which Way is the Dancer Spinning?

This link came through on one of the mailing lists I belong to. I’m not ashamed to admit it kept me fascinated for a long time. I managed to see her spinning both directions. The coolest part? SoundGuy and I watched her together, and there were times he’d see her spinning one way while I saw her spinning another.

So what’s the verdict for you?

And how much time will I continue to waste watching her spin?

Things never happen when you want them to.

Here in North Georgia, we’ve all been praying for rain, but have seen very little. We did manage to get some early this week ( :cheer: ), just not enough to make a difference. But that’s not what this post’s about.

Normally, it only rains when you don’t want it to. Finally get out to wash your car? It’ll rain later that day. Take time off to paint the outside of your house? It’ll pour on you the moment you prop your ladder against your siding.

Saturday Shot 20 OCT 2007

by Lynn Daniels on Saturday, October 20, 2007 at 9:21 pm

Sorry I haven’t responded to comments yet — such is the life of a mom! I’m hoping to get that done in the morning after SoundGuy leaves for work and before I get back to processing photos from MiniMe’s soccer games (I’ve probably got close to 1000 yet to go through!).

Anyway, late as I may be, I’m still managing to get this week’s Saturday Shot up on Saturday! Are you proud? I know I am. And since I recently missed a Saturday Shot, I’ll go ahead and give you two. Seein’ how they’re related and all.

You Can’t Make This Stuff Up

by Lynn Daniels on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 10:46 am

So I’ve been battling some emotions lately, some stress, and like an idiot, I go and read the newspaper today. Apparently, Atlanta-area lakes have reached critical point and the Army Corps of Engineers is partially to blame; they found a new dinosaur (well, his bones anyway) in Argentina; a street-racing 15-year-old killed somebody in a head-on collision; an off-duty cop shot up a bar’s parking lot and has since been banned from that bar; and this (Click the link. Seriously. You won’t regret it.). :faint:

Suddenly my day looked a bit brighter, my husband looked a bit hotter, and all was right in my world because I’m not in the dating world and running into people like him.

Saturday Shot 13 OCT 2007

I haven’t been around much lately, mainly due to fatigue. I just can’t shake this constant tiredness. I thought I might be coming down with something, but SoundGuy pointed out that I’ve been very stressed lately, and for me, stress manifests itself physically. When I considered the headaches I’ve been having in addition to the fatigue, that actually made sense.

Incident or Entertainment?

by Lynn Daniels on Monday, October 8, 2007 at 11:21 pm

I’ve been pretty absent the past week or so — I apologize. I guess I should amend that statement to specify that I’ve been absent from the internet, because I’ve been here and busy as all get out. I somehow managed to wrangle myself into taking pictures at MiniMe’s soccer games and LittleDude’s Scout meetings, and I’ve literally been spending the past week processing images. I’m so far behind with the soccer pictures, it’s reached to point of being overwhelming. I’m fighting my way through, though.
