As promised, I’ve got a Saturday Shot for you!
I took this one during our recent vacation in the North Georgia Mountains. We’d stopped to check out a view that was to the left of where I stood as I took this photo, when I turned and saw the colorful trees lining the roadway. The leaves were just this side of peak color — peak was predicted for a few days after I took this. That in itself was a sight to behold … but then along came a biker.
It was absolutely gorgeous weather on this day, and I was beyond jealous of this person on the motorcycle. I knew I had to catch that biker in the curve of the road.
It might not be one of my best captures, but the memory is among my favorites for the year.
