That Dernded Overlord Strikes Again

How are you spending your Friday night? Me? SoundGuy and I are sitting here watching the Olympics, and I’m considering transcribing some of my handwritten writing into the computer. If I can actually read it, that is. 
Today was the first day of school in my county, and I took the opportunity to finally catch up a little on my sleep. I’ve been having trouble nodding off at night, and forcing myself to get up early in the morning. I was hoping that would lead to earlier nod-offs, but all it did was make me even more tired during the day. Then by the time it was time to crash for the night, I was so overtired it was impossible to sleep. I’m not sure if my catch up today did any good; I guess I’ll find out Monday morning when I have to get the kids up again.
Still, we’re excited the kids are back in school. LittleDude’s excited about it, too. MiniMe — not so much. Of course, if she was happy about it, she wouldn’t dare admit to it. 
I’m not sure why I did this tonight — I swear my body must have been overtaken by the evil monkey overlord. That’s the only explanation I have. What did I do? I went and joined Twitter. I barely have time for the things I already do; I don’t spend enough time online to update the things I need to update. And yet, I still joined another procrastinating time waster.
Evil Monkey Overlord. That’s got to be it.
Whatever the reason, I’ve done some configuring (I wanted to type configurating — it seems like a more fun word!) on the blog, and now my twitters will show up in the sidebar. I did the same. Finally gave in and joined Twitter awhile back. Not that I have that much time to post. Ah, well. Just another diversion I guess. Hope you got some sleep finally.

I got a little sleep, although I stayed up way too late last night. The good news is I got some writing in. And changed my MySpace layout.
