I know sunset pictures are cliched, but I’m feeling a bit cliched today.

On the day we visited Grand Teton National Park, we decided to take an alternate route back to our hotel in Montana in order to see new scenery.

Okay. Not entirely true. The speed limit through Yellowstone National Park is 45 mph. By going up through Idaho instead, SoundGuy figured we could take roads with higher speed limits and less traffic.

Regardless of the reason, as we headed back, we encountered this unencumbered view of this sunset. And that alone made me glad we decided to take this route back.

    Thanks, Kate! Maybe that comment came from reading the submission requirements over at iStockPhoto. :shrug: I happen to love pictures of clouds, sun and sky.
