Yes, folks, I’ve been messing with the blog again. One of the dangers of being home alone with the kids on New Year’s Eve, I suppose.
Pathetic? Moi?
First, I made a change to the way links are displayed. Unvisited links are now in a darker color, visited links are in the original […]

I just finished Sherrilyn Kenyon’s new addition to the Dark Hunter series, Unleash the Night. Another name has been added to my “Fictional Characters to Lust After” list.
Wren Tigarian.
Yum.
Just thought I’d share.

LittleDude: Momma?
Me: Yeah?
LittleDude: Remember Christmas, when I got to open all my presents?
Me: Yeah…
LittleDude: That was cool.
I hope everybody had as wonderful a Christmas as I did! The kids did manage to make it — barely — until SoundGuy came home from work. They found lots of goodies […]

Christmas Eve.
In the past, it meant me waiting for my family to coming back from out of state with my stepdaughter in tow. It also meant the end of a solitary (relatively speaking) two-day shopping and wrapping marathon which culminated in frazzled nerves and an aching back.
Not this year.

I’ve been working on that synopsis template for IH, and I’m almost finished (save some answer tightening … WOO HOO! ). There’s one answer that is still giving me problems, though; it’s one that relates to the secondary characters.

Since my last post (good-naturedly) damned somebody, I feel like I should go the opposite direction with this post and thank somebody. It’s the least I can do, right?
So tonight, I’m publicly thanking Tess for our phone conversation the other day. Not only did she give me a good idea […]

Damn you, Sherrilyn Kenyon!
I’ve been reading her story Knightly Dreams from the anthology What Dreams May Come, and now I’m saddled with this horrible feeling of guilt. Esther, the repository for romance novels, is explaining to Taryn, the heroine, about the origins of stories. About the Valley of Lost Souls. About how […]

I promised a happy post. Granted, this one won’t be hearts and flowers, but it is guaranteed Rant-Free.
With Christmas getting closer and closer, I’m feeling more and more like a headless chicken. So much to do, so little time. The good news is I’ve actually got a great jump on my shopping […]

I’m going to rant a moment, but it’ll have a purpose. Really.
I think.
When I got out of bed this morning, my To Do List seemed a million miles long. Slight exaggeration — maybe — but it gets the point across. Anyway, the list suddenly got longer. SoundGuy informed me […]
