The Delisting of Wolf 253M

I remember the first time I read in the newspaper of the possibility of the gray wolf being removed from the endangered species list. I remember questioning the reasoning — it seemed the wolves had only just barely been reintroduced in Yellowstone, and here we were, about to release them to be decimated from the area again.
